Anhui Research Institute of Chemical Industry (ARICI) was founded in 1962 through merger of the former Anhui Chemical Institute Chinese Academy of Science and Anhui Chemical Engineering Research & Design Institute. In March 2003, ARICI was acquired by Anhui Petrochemical Group and became its R&D subsidiary. Currently ARICI occupies a total area of 122,000 square meters, including 75,000 square meters of operation area and 47,000 square meters of staffing area.
